Brief Explanation of the Moon Phases

Every pracice has it's time but that is individual to the artist the act and the need at the time. It often deends on where your
(Native) ancestry is rooted, traditions are all different Wiccan is different as well. LML's Native roots are unique to her and she may book you accordingly. This info is not the type of info that applies to anyone anytime and is not recited as textbook or handed out for discussion with society because of many reasons it is personal to her and the client. The phases of the moon are caused by the relative positions of the
earth, sun, and moon. The moon goes around the earth, on average, in 27
days 7 hours 43 minutes.

The sun always illuminates the half of the moon facing the sun
(except during lunar eclipses, when the moon passes thru the earth's
shadow). When the sun and moon are on opposite sides of the earth, the
moon appears "full" to us, a bright, round disk. When the moon is
between the earth and the sun, it appears dark, a "new" moon. In
between, the moon's illuminated surface appears to grow (wax) to full,
then decreases (wanes) to the next new moon.

The edge of the shadow (the terminator) is always curved, being an
oblique view of a circle, giving the moon its familiar crescent shape.
Because the "horns" of the moon at the ends of the crescent are always
facing away from the setting or rising sun, they always point upward in
the sky. It is fun to watch for paintings and pictures which show an
"impossible moon" with the horns pointed downwards.

Quick (10 minutes) meet n greet moment n pickup some great products days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays (during our 2 official products and mailordering days) Best to aim for afternoon thru later in the day before 8pm on these 2 days. She works best in an organized fashion (we all need her!) so if at all possible...please call first before showing up and arrange this time so we can be ready for you. This is not a total consultation but a quick look and recommendation of products.

Ahands-on treatment or a step-by-step product tutorial (if you do need one, most don't ) appointment can always be set up from there. Normally if you are just getting products for now... a free checkup for 2 weeks time is offered after you've tried to do the routines on your own. Perhaps for a few pointers on use, perhaps to add steps and oils if you are ready..

Some people find they can do start-ups on their own using our websites, and this this way it might save the newbie session costs although everyone is different, some people need always to be shown in hands-on in great detail. You usually know which you are
